Garden City Approves Budget, Talks Sales Tax
Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Tuesday the Garden City Commissioners came to an agreement during their meeting in concurrence with Finney County to support a sales tax initiative that could fund various city and county projects.
The sales tax is for .3 percent and would go to a public vote in November. City Manager Matt Allen on what the tax would fund.
The sales tax would sunset in 15 years.
The City also approved their 2018 Budget, which includes a slight increase according to Allen
