Future Broadcasters Reach Their Potential at GCHS
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The future of broadcasting is in good hands. The Buffalo Broadcasting System at Garden City High School is celebrating their recent success of winning 42 individual awards and 19 state champions from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters. BBS instructor Jesse Bernal says the program has never been more popular.
Students will soon have another opportunity to hone their skills.
BBS currently is the oldest high school television station in Kansas. The program has been in place since 1976.
