Update to Friday’s Storm Damage in Gray County

Cimarron, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Damage estimates are still coming in from Friday night’s storms in Gray County. Emergency Management Director Rayna Maddox goes over what they have seen so far.

Unconfirmed reports have winds reaching hurricane force.

Anyone who sustain damage is asked to call emergency management so they can get a full account at (620) 855-2424.  

No one was hit harder than both electric utility companies serving the area Victory and Sunflower. Jerri Imgarten is Victory Electric’s Director of Marketing and Communications.

While residential customers have good news not everything has been repaired.

Damage estimates are expected in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
