Freddie Patrick Yazzie JR. 40, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his home in Liberal, KS.
He was born May 2, 1975 at Liberal, KS, the son of Freddie Yazzie Sr. and Nina Holmes.
At the time of his passing he was engaged to Cynthia Bentura of Liberal, KS.
Freddie attended Liberal High School and was a graduate of SCCC/ATS where he received a Criminal Justice Degree. He worked with the Sanitation Dept. of Liberal for 9 years before going to work with Seward County in 2014 where he also worked in Sanitation. He enjoyed working on cars, hanging out with friends and family.
His survivors include his Mother and Step Father: Nina Holmes and Larry C. McCann of Liberal, KS; Three daughters: Aaliyah Michell Yazzie , Alaysia Aponi Yazzie, and Alize Kristine Hickey of Liberal, KS; One Son: Alucard Naabaahii Yazzie of Liberal, KS; Three Brothers: Adrian Donnel McCann of Liberal, KS, Anthony Martinez of Liberal, KS and Christopher Mark McCann of Lorton, VA; Six Sisters: Angela Kay Yazzie of Liberal, KS, Charity Dawn Martinez of Liberal, KS, Tabitha Heather Gonzales of Perryton, TX, Joycelyn Wilson of Liberal, KS, Stephanie McCann of Liberal, KS, and Kimberly Moore of Liberal, KS; numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday May 28, 2015 at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Friday May 29, 2015 at the Central Christian Church with Pastor Alton Hyde and Larry McCann officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Freddie Yazzie Jr. Children Memorial fund in care of Miller Mortuary.
