Francis: Solving Education Funding Problem Likely to Remain Complicated

Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Supreme Court is taking up the adequacy component of education funding this week.  State Representative Shannon Francis of Liberal feels solving the problem goes beyond how much is spent.

And this battle will not get any easier when the legislature tries to come up with a new school funding model next year.

Francis does not know what to expect, but he will watch with interest at what the court decides.
