Frances Fleming

Frances Fleming left us peacefully to be with the Lord on March 19, 2014 at Covenant Place of Lenexa, Kansas and was surrounded by family at the time of her passing. She was born July 7, 1923 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Paul and Dominica Sciortino Losciuto. Frances grew up in Brooklyn, New York where she met her husband, James C. Fleming. They were married on June 9, 1945 in Galveston, Texas. He died May 14, 1998 in Garden City, Kansas. She then moved to Garden City where she lived until May of 2013 when she moved to Lenexa, Kansas. Frances was a homemaker, a member of the Catholic faith and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Copeland, Kansas.

Survivors Include:
Two Sons, Bill (& Diane) Fleming of Shawnee, Kansas and
Steve (& Ruthie) Fleming of Newberry, New Hampshire;
One Daughter, Patricia (& Bud) Mathews of Garden City, Kansas;
Seven Grandchildren, Fifteen Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three Brothers and Three Sisters. 

A Rosary and Prayer Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday March 21, 2014 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. 

Friends may call from 10:00am until service time Friday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.

Interment will be held at 1:00pm on Friday in the Copeland Cemetery in Copeland, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Copeland American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
