A Four Month Old Boy Dies in Garden City
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Police are trying to determine why a four month old boy died at a private residence Monday afternoon. Officers were called to the scene and when they arrived, they found the boy on a couch and unresponsive. An autopsy is being performed. No other information has been released.
Monday officers were involved in a pursuit of a suspect who would not stop after a minor traffic violation. The driver 30 year old Michael Lopez and his passenger 28 year old Francisca Morales led Garden City police out to Sixteen Mile Road reportedly throwing 44 grams of meth out of their car during the chase. Both suspects have been booked on drug charges.
Officer are also investigating a burglary on Conkling Street where the suspect 64 year old Antonio Mondragon Junior left and was apprehended after a standoff at another home on Bancroft Street. Upon entering the second residence officers determined Mondragon did $1500 damage.
