Foster Parents Are Charged With Abuse
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Two foster parents have been accused of abusing some of the children they took in. Garden City Police say they have arrested 40 year old Glenda Griffin and 47 year old Stacy Griffin of 1305 East Fair Street. Glenda Griffin is accused of abusing up to nine children and with one county of child endangerment, Stacy Griffin is charged with two counts of abuse. Victims tell police the incidents of abuse date back six years. Finney County attorney Susan Richmeier says the defendants are being held on 100,000 dollars bond. Their first court appearance is Thursday morning at 8:30. Police say the victims range in age from one to fifteen years old.
