Ford County accident injures one
Ford County, KS(westernkansasnews.com) An Offerle man was injured in a two vehicle accident in Ford County Wednesday afternoon. At 2:37 p.m. on two miles west of Offerle on US 50 highway vehicle one was westbound on US 50. Vehicle two was eastbound on US 50. Due to weather, vehicle one could not see and went left of center and struck the fourth axle of the trailer on vehicle two. Vehicle one came to rest in the westbound lanes of US 50. Vehicle two came to rest partially in the eastbound ditch and partially on the eastbound lanes of US 50.
The driver of vehicle one Frank Nall, 88 was taken to Western Plains Medical Center for his injury. The driver of vehicle two was not injured.
