Florence Maxine Marshall

Florence Maxine Marshall, age 93, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Banner Hospice Facility in Sun City West, Arizona.  She was born on Nov. 14, 1920 in Skiatook, Oklahoma the daughter of Ensign David and Kitty Pearl Hawk Downer.  A former resident of Garden City Maxine worked as an Administrator of an adult care home in Long Beach, California.

On May 10, 1939, she married Jack F. Marshall in Sublette, Kansas.  He died Nov. 14, 1987 in Westminster, California.

Survivors Include:

Four Sons,                 Larry (& Jeanne) Marshall of Cypress, California,
                                    Cary (& Sonja) Marshall of Peoria, Arizona,
                                    Terry (& Gerrie) Marshall of Surprise, Arizona and
                                    Gary Marshall of Hesperia, California;

Two Daughters,        Sherry (& Kirby) Cotter of Wittmann, Arizona and
                                    Darlene Davis of Surprise, Arizona;

16 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Earl Wing & Charles Downer and three sisters, Agnes Linfoot, Ruby Adams & Pauline Lamarr.                 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.

Friends may call from 10:00am-2:00pm on Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.

Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
