Five hurt in Scott City car accident
Scott City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Five people were injured in a car accident in Scott City Sunday night at 5:06 p.m. on U83 at Alice Street in Scott City. Vehicle 2 was southbound on U83. Driver 2 activated his right turn signal to merge into the right lane. Vehicle 1 was stopped at the stop sign on Alice Street and U83. Vehicle 1 pulled out in front of Vehicle 2 and collided into the driver’s side of Vehicle 2.
Neither driver was injured, but the driver of vehicle one was a 15 year old male. The five passengers of vehicle two were taken to the hospital for injuries. Four of them were minors ages 14, 12, 11 and 9. Mildred Burch, 73, of Marienthal was the other passenger taken to the hospital.
