Finney County Set to Honor Their Finest Teachers

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Thursday night at the Clarion Inn, six of Finney County’s finest teachers will be honored at the annual Crystal Apple Award’s Banquet.  The award is presented by Bors Law Firm,  Chamber VP Rick Thomeczek notes the six finalists have a wide range of experience in the academic field.

The six 2016 finalists are: Michelle Baier, Holcomb High School; Rebecca Burnfin, Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center; Sarah Drubinsky, Charles O. Stones Intermediate Center; Kim Freeland, Abe Hubert Elementary School; Jennifer Herdman, Garden City High School; and Wendi Terpstra, Garden City High School.
