Finney County Commission Tackles Co-op Expansion Delay
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) At Monday’s Finney County Commissioners meeting the Garden City Co-op voiced their concern that plans for a 45,000 square foot chemical and feed storage facility still has not been approved.
Lona DuVall, President and CEO of the Finney County Economic Development Corporation says now that the issue of not needing a fire supression unit has been resolved all they are waiting for is a building permit to be issued.
Garden City Planning and Community Development Coordinator Kaleb Kentner will ask for a variance from the state fire marshal in the hopes of getting final approval for the project.
