Fight Against Healthcare Reform Rests With Congress Again
(westernkansasnews.com) The Affordable Care Act passed two hurdles in the US Supreme Court including last week’s decision on whether subsidies for states that didn’t set up their own healthcare exchanges were legal. For now State Attorney General Derek Schmidt and others attempting to get the law thrown out are waving the white flag. Judges looked at intent in defending the law.
For those against the ACA their hope has been passed back to elected officials in Washington.
Only legal challenges dealing with small provisions of the law remain in litigation.
