Fern lived most of her life in the Ingalls and Pierceville area. She worked at several different places including the Garden City Army Airbase, St Catherine Hospital, cooked at Pierceville Café, Pierceville School, Darts Cafeteria, and 13 years at the Flight Deck Restaurant at the Airport. She later was a Checker and Stocker at the Pierceville Grocery Store. She taught Sunday School classes and was a Youth Group Leader at her church, enjoyed making quilts and lap robes and giving them to needy people and was well known in the community for her cinnamon rolls. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands, 3 infant children, 1 Sister- Virginia Thomas, 4 Brothers- Floyd, Murl, Harold, & Ralph, & 1 great grandson.
