Evelyn Padget
Evelyn Padget, 93, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
She was born December 22, 1921 at Dodge City, Kansas, the daughter of Mearl and Jennie McCormack Woodall. She was a lifetime Dodge City resident.
Evelyn was the Dodge City Doll Doctor from 1967 to 2010. She was also a member of the Dodge City Bowling Association, Dodge City Dollies, American Legion Auxiliary, and a VFW Auxiliary Life Member.
On March 8, 1947 she married Clifford Padget at Dodge City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2009.
Survivors include: a daughter Glenda Kraft and husband Bill, Dodge City; daughter in law, Chris Roetzer, Dodge City; brother, Homer Woodall, Portland, Oregon; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Clifton, 3 sisters, a son in law and one grandchild.
Funeral service will be 10:30 am Friday, January 30, 2015 at Ziegler Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Burns officiating. There will be a book signing from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
