Estes: KPERS Participants Should Not Worry About Delayed Payment
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State Representative Bud Estes of Dodge City is looking to set the record straight. He feels coverage of the recent action taken by the legislature which prop up the budget by taking money from KPERS is not telling the complete story. Estes says the timetable for making the second payment to the retirement is being changed with what lawmakers passed last week.
Estes reassures those in the program that KPERS is in good shape. This move is only being done once.
