Emilio Hermocillo Olivas

Emilio Hermocillo Olivas “Papa” a man of great dignity. A man respected by many because of who he was and his passion for loving others. Not only a provider in his own home but for others, faithfully and consistently, caring for his family and friends. His love stretched many miles being known for helping others in time of need. Providing a place to eat, live, work, but most importantly, he would become a lifetime friend. He was born in Chihuhua Mexico, the son of Santiago Olivas and Teresa Hermosillo preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Esther R. Olivas. Two Sons: Fernando Luther Garcia, and Abraham Bernardo Garcia. One brother Nicolas Olivas Garcia. He Survived by 3 sons Anthony Garcia and wife Veronica, Liberal, KS, Edward Olivas and wife Durina , Phoenix AZ, Emilio Olivas , Ft Supply, OK and 5 daughters Genevieve Rodriguez and husband Francisco, Liberal, KS, Adela Vargas and husband Raul, Casa Grande, AZ, Lucia L Applebee and husband Michael, Liberal, KS, Deborah Castillo Garcia, Liberal, KS, Teresa Banuelos, Derby, KS…Emilio worked for Supreme Feeders for 39 years. He had a passion for horses and cattle, a passion, which at his age, would allow him to still jump on a horse and ride; continue working and providing even up to his final day. He loved the old ways of life and the traditions of family and culture. Loving old western movies and music. He was a hard worker and a loving son, nephew, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. His smile, his laugh, and spirit, his sense of humor and his lending ear…seeing him in his suspenders, snap pearl shirts, and his cowboy hat, having the bittersweet smell of a ranch attached to him along with his comforting words and hugs and kisses as we hear “aye mi pajarito” “pajaro” mija and mijo” All which will be forever missed and forever remembered as we reminisce. Hermano-Tio-Papa-Don Emilio-Compadre-Grandpa – as we continue to have tears of sadness and joy and miss you dearly, we will find peace and comfort knowing you are with the Lord and with the love of your life, the one you called “honey” ….and with your brother, sons, and nephew and other family and friends we have also missed but we know will also soon see again. To live eternally in heaven, seated with the Lord of Lords, King of kings, our heavenly Father, family and friends, loving all, to be with all, to never hurt or miss again.
