Ellen E. Hineman

Ellen E. Hineman, age 62, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born May 28, 1952 at Garden City, the daughter of Herbert T. & Elizabeth C. (Yost) Hineman.

Ellen graduated with the Class of 1970 at Dighton High School where she was involved in basketball, music and was a State Champion Tennis player. She graduated from the Nursing Program at Garden City Community College and worked as a Registered Nurse at St Catherine Hospital. In 1980 she moved back to Dighton to work at Lane County Hospital. Recently she has been buying and selling antique post cards over the internet. She enjoyed being with her dog- Sophie, reading, watching sports especially the Kansas City Royals, arrowhead and shark tooth hunting, photography, politics & had been an accomplished softball player. She was preceded in death by her Father & 1 Brother- Jeff Hineman.
