DuVall: KDOT to Chip in 4.5 Million For Transload Facility
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Finney County Economic Development Corporation has announced KDOT is chipping in 4.5 million dollars for infrastructure needs as part of a 14 million dollar construction project to build a new transload facility just southeast of Garden City. FCEDC President and CEO Lona DuVall is excited about what lies ahead.
The private company that will run the facility is Transportation Partners and Logistics. Now that the details have been ironed out, DuVall expects a quick turnaround.
TP&L could be their operations on sight by early December.
