Driver Takes Out Utility Pole; Police Find Suspect
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A driver responsible for a hit and run accident that took out a utility pole Saturday night has been taken into custody. Garden City Police had to close down the northbound lanes on the 1500 block of Taylor Avenue while crews worked on the damage. The driver has been identified as 39 year Luis Cisneros and will be charged with driving under the influence and with a suspended license.
Friday morning police report arresting an 18 year old for possession with intent to distribute narcotics. Xavier Laurelez was taken into custody after a search of his residence on the 1600 block of Walker Street.
