Driver Involved in Crash with Semi Dies
Spearville, KS (westernkansasnews.com) An 81 year old man from Kinsley dies in a crash with a semi Tuesday morning around 9 on US 50 and Clark Street near the Spearville Truck Stop in Ford County.
State troopers have identified the driver as Martin Burke. He was attempting a left turn on to Clark Street when the driver of the semi tried to pass a commercial motor vehicle who was also trying to make a left turn. The accident happened on the shoulder. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
