Downed Power Lines Reported From Tuesday Night’s Storms

Ness City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Tuesday night’s storms definitely left their mark.  Manager of the Lane and Scott County Electric Co-op Ed Wiltse reported a number of downed power poles from the storm. 

Nine poles were blown down from Ness City to Bazine and another 18 from Bazine to Alexander.  Crews had to work over the past couple of days clearing some of the poles from the roadways.  Power was restored to residents in both Alexander and McCracken Wednesday afternoon.
