Doris Mae Campbell
Doris Mae Campbell, age 95, formerly of Garden City, passed away on October 19, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Doris was born October 25, 1917 in Pueblo, Colorado, daughter of Allen and Bertha Brinley. Doris married Homer D. Campbell on June 18, 1939, graduated from Garden City High School and went on to graduate from Garden City Community College in 1937. She received her B.S. in Education at Fort Hays College in 1960.

Doris went on to teach art for many years, eventually becoming interested in painting and teaching porcelain painting. She stayed involved in teaching this art until only a few years ago, after she and Homer retired to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Her extensive studies in this art were demonstrated at numerous shows, winning many awards across the nation.
Doris was a loving kind person, and family was most important to her. She made this apparent to all of her relations.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Homer of 75 years.
Doris is survived by her nieces, Shannon Meadows and Shannon’s daughter, Chelsea Hutchens, of California and Dr. Sherrin Bonebrake, her husband, Dr. Robert Bonebrake and their children Caysi
