Doll: No Difficulties For Now in Finding Additional Money For Education
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) There was a lot of action in Topeka last week. Legislators approved a budget and the same day the State Supreme Court threw out the block grant funding model for education. Its estimated the state needs 54 million to satisfy the court order. State Representative John Doll says finding the money is no problem for now.
Legislators continue to juggle money around.
Doll says KDOT will lose another 25 million dollars in the budget that just passed.
