Doll on Why All Kansans Should Be Upset

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The mood is sour among the electorate in Kansas. Last week’s squabble over the budget has ended, but you are the one left holding the bag. The question is very simple what should constituents be most upset about? House Representative John Doll of Garden City responds.

There will be a reduction of the food tax beginning in July 2016. On the average a family of four will be paying 35 dollars more a year for groceries. As for the pledge, only six of the 53 Kansas legislators who agreed to it, kept their word not to raise taxes.
