Dodge City Welcomes Dole
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Former US Senator Bob Dole made his eighth trip to Kansas this year. Last night’s stop was in Dodge City at the Village Square Mall. Senator Pat Roberts is happy his relationship with Dole has stood the test of time.
Dole expressed gratitude for his years of service.
Dole is still involved. He helped Garden City get the recent TIGER grant to keep rail service and visits the WWII Memorial in Washington every Saturday. Dole will make stops today, Wednesday and Thursday.
