Dodge City to host KSHSAA State Volleyball

DODGE CITY, Kan. — The Dodge City Sports Commission will host the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 1A and Class 2A State Volleyball Tournaments on Friday and Saturday at United Wireless Arena.

Paul Lewis, Chairman of the Sports Commission spoke on the opportunity to host the State Volleyball Championships, “we are extremely excited to be able to continue working with KSHSAA and will strive to produce the best event Dodge City can offer. We look forward to showing everyone the great facilities we have at UWA and hope they enjoy their time in Dodge.”

The tournament will consist of eight 1A teams and eight 2A teams playing in two sessions each day. The 1A tournament will begin pool play Friday morning with 2A beginning Friday afternoon. Championship matches will be held in the same format on Saturday.
