Great Bend, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Kevin Benitez and Brian Carrera scored goals just six minutes apart in the second half as Garden City overcame a 1-0 halftime deficit to beat Great Bend 3-2.
Kender Acevedo, who let the game-winning goal slip between his legs on Tuesday vs. Liberal, had five saves. Garden City out shot Great Bend 13-7.
