Attack on Dillon’s Employee Ends in Arrest

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A man accused of attacking a Dillon’s employee with a hammer has been arrested by police.  The incident occurred shortly after 9 Monday morning.   After confronting the suspect, police say he continued to approach officers despite warnings to stop.  An officer used a taser which had no effect. 

The altercation ended with the officer pushing the man to the ground.  After being checked out by emergency personnel the man was taken into custody.  The Dillon’s employee reported minor injuries.  The man is being charged with aggravated assault and theft.  Police did not release a name.
