Dodge City Police Crackdown on Source of Underage Drinking

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Dodge City Police Department has wrapped up a one month investigation leading to the arrest of six people at four different homes for providing alcohol to minors.  Two of the six are facing child endangerment charges. Chief Craig Mellecker says officers uncovered  247 single cans of alcohol, 1200 alcoholic bottles and cans, four chest freezers and thousands of dollars in cash.  Those charged are listed below.  

Alfonso Rodriquez, 45 year old male Charges: Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor (2 counts) Evasion of Liquor Tax (2 counts) Selling with no License (2 counts) Nuisances of Places and Property (2 counts)

Laura Rodriguez-Velazquez, 44 year old female  Charges:  Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor, Evasion of Liquor Tax, Selling with no License, Nuisances of Places and Property

Juana Perez-Jurader, 40 year old female Charges:  Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor (3 counts)Evasion of Liquor Tax (3 counts) Selling with no License (3 counts) Nuisances of Places and Property (3 counts)

Beatriz Flores, 32 year old female Charges:  Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor (3 counts) Evasion of Liquor Tax (3 counts) Selling with no License (3 counts) Nuisances of Places and Property (3 counts)

Roberto Rodriguez-Jurado, 46 year old male Charges:  Aggravated Child Endangerment Contributing to a Child’s Misconduct, Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor (3 counts) Evasion of Liquor Tax (3 counts) Selling with no License (3 counts) Nuisances of Places and Property (3 counts)
