Dodge City Pastor Receives Probabation; No Jail Time For Sex Crime
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) An 80 year old minister from Dodge City has been sentenced to three years of probation after pleading guilty in a plea deal with prosecutors to sexual battery. Dr. Jerrold Ketner has been ordered not to have any contact with the victim or her husband.
Ketner won’t have to pay any restitution or register as a sex offender. Ketner was arrested earlier this year after the victim produced video evidence of the offense to police. The victim says Ketner was trying to help her with a money problem and when she could not pay, he demanded sex from her.
