Dodge City is Open for Business

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) For all the good economic news that is happening in our area, Dodge City is growing right along with everyone else.  Joann Knight Director of the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation provides some examples.

These welcome additions mark only a beginning of the economic expansion in town. Knight says there is much more.

One thing has been holding back all this recent progress.  Knight believes its people finding a place to stay.

Knight says the area population increased by 700 people from 2010-2012.  She believes the same trend has continued over the last several year.
