Dodge City man dies in semi-pedestrian accident
Ellsworth County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Dodge City man died on Monday in Ellsworth County just after 1 pm.
According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, 65-year-old Rudolph Martinez was assisting 44-year-old Brandon Wade Adams of Bonne Terre, Missouri navigate a 2018 Freightliner through a snowdrift covered parking lot when the semi backed over Martinez. The accident took place at 216 K156 Highway in Ellsworth or known as the junction of K156 and I70 in Ellsworth County.
Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Parsons Funeral Home. Adams was uninjured.
