Dodge City A’s back on track; Liberal falls short

Oklahoma City, OK (westernkansasnews.com)-David Flores called it a hitter’s park.

So it was only fitting that Dodge City lit up the scoreboard.

17 hits to be exact, and they scored in every inning but two on their way to a 15-5 victory over the Bethany Bulls on Tuesday night.

“The ball carried,” Flores said afterwards. “The ballpark is definitely hitter friendly.”

Dodge City, who snapped a two-game losing streak, scored two in the first; one in the second; three in the fourth and fifth; one in the sixth; one in the eighth and four in the ninth.

Same two teams tonight at 7 p.m.
