Dodge City attempted murder suspect arrested
Dodge City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) An attempted murder suspect was arressted in Dodge City yesterday after a four month search. 20 year old Xavier Maestas was wanted for allegedly shooting two men outside of a trailer in Dodge City on July 23.
An anonymous tip led to the capture. He was arrested without further incident at a Dodge City residence by Dodge City Police, Ford County Sheriff’s office and the KBI.
Maestas has been charged with Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Aggravated Assault – Use of a deadly Weapon, and Criminal Discharge of a Firearm – Shooting into an occupied dwelling.
