Docking Campaigns for Lieutenant Governor in Garden City
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Democratic Lieutenant Governor Candidate Jill Docking was in Southwest Kansas this weekend. Docking attended the Saturday breakfast at Stevens Park before the Beef Empire Days parade. She and Paul Davis are trying to frame the debate for November.
Docking says Governor Brownback wants to continue privatizing Medicaid. The KanCare program has already lost 200 million dollars in the first year under the oversight of three private companies. Docking blames Brownback for not taking the Medicaid expansion money the federal government was offering.
Docking says she believes her running mate Paul Davis can bring people together in finding a solution to KanCare’s budget problem.
