District To Hold Art Show November 21 – December 19

Garden City Public Schools will hold a School District Art Show November 21^st through December 19^th at the Educational Support Center, 1205 Fleming Street.  The artwork can be viewed during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  There will be an opening reception at the Educational Support Center on November 21^st from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

The show will feature works from all the schools in the district from kindergarten to 12^th grade.  There will also be a special memorial artwork in remembrance of Phil Button.  He was a long time Art Educator for the district whose impact was felt not only within the walls of his classroom but through various  community organizations which included the Historical Society, the Zoo and the Art and Theater Arts programs at Garden City Community College.
