Garden City Public Schools will be closed to on-site classes and move to Level 6 Remote Learning, from the district’s operational plan, starting on Monday, November 23rd. The decision to move to Level 6 was made due to several positive COVID-19 cases in the community and district along with the temporary lack of available staff necessary to operate the schools safely and effectively in the district.

The move to Level 6 Remote Learning in the district was done out of an abundance of caution. It was decided to keep the district closed to on-site learning through December 22, 2020, pending no further increases in positive COVID-19 cases.

The top priority of Garden City Public Schools is the safety and health of students, staff and the community. The district askes families to continue to be vigilant and help decrease the spread of COVID-19 by washing hands, social distance by at least six feet or more, wear a face mask when in public places and stay home if you are not feeling well.
