Dierksen to Become Next School Superintendent in Dodge City

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) After 14 years as a Superintendent in Sterling, Kansas Dr. Fred Dierksen is moving on to become the next Superintendent in Dodge City  and will take over for the retiring Alan Cunningham June 30th.  During the interview process Dierksen was impressed with the passion people in Dodge have for education.

Dierksen is taking over at the right time as the facilities improvement bond of 85 million dollars is well underway.

Dierksen’s career as a educator spans 35 years. He also previously served as a teacher and three sport coach in Jetmore.
