Dennis Robert Bogner
Dennis Robert Bogner, 76, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex.
He was born February 14, 1939 at Dodge City, Kansas, the Son of Bob and Alma Stein Bogner. Dennis Attended Sears and Howell Country Schools in his early years. He was always happy and good natured and paid great attention to detail. He loved hearing about and being with his family. Dennis lived at Trinity Manor Nursing Home for the past three and a half years.
Survivors include: 1 brother, Duane Bogner and wife Nancy, Paola, Kansas; 3 sisters, Donna Schawe and husband Leroy, Dodge City, Dolores Engelhardt, Wichita, Kansas, Darlene Gleason, Spearville, Kansas; sister in laws, Maureen Bogner, Kingman, Kansas, Diane Bogner, Leavenworth, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Donald and Delbert Bogner.
Vigil service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the church with Fr. Wesley Schawe presiding. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.
The family suggests memorials to Our Lady of Guadalupe or Trinity Manor both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
