Delmer attended Dighton schools. He worked in construction, farming and on harvest crews. He later did custom harvesting for wheat, milo and silage. Delmer built his own silage cutter and other harvest equipment. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns and designing and building things. Later he liked to take his family on outings to Cat House Recreation. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 7 Brothers- Giles, Paul, Charles, Keith, Roger, Gerald & Jarold & 1 Sister- Berdyna Wheeler.
