Delano Wayne Honaker

Delano Wayne Honaker, 48, of Hugoton, KS, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the Satanta District Hospital, Satanta, KS. 

He was born October 3, 1966, at Tulsa, OK, to Henry Liburn and Betty Jean (David) Honaker. He graduated from Hugoton High School in 1985, and from Salina Area Technical College, in 1987. 

He was a self-employed caregiver, and a lifetime resident of the area. 

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Liberal, the Church of God in Hugoton, and the Boy Scouts. 

Survivors include: 

His mother – Betty Harris, of Hugoton, KS 

Brothers – Gene Honaker, of Hugoton, KS 
Cecil Harris, of Hutchinson, KS 

Sister – Rita Bymaster and husband Jeffery, of Indianapolis, IN 

Nephews – Austin and Brandon Bymaster 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elize and Vinnie Honaker; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Daisy David; and his father, Henry Honaker. 

Cremation has taken place, and inurnment will be held at a later date at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.
