Debra E. Beck
Debra E. Beck, 59, died April 14, 2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. She was born on December 29, 1955 at Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Dwayne and Shirlee (Rose) Cline.
Debra was a graduate of Dodge City High School. On June 19, 1982, she married Mark Beck at Dodge City. He survives. She worked early in her life for Speed King, the Lamplighter club all of Dodge City and Kansas Soldiers Home of Fort Dodge. After taking college classes she worked as a CMA at Trinity Manor of Dodge City. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and woodcrafting. She was a devoted wife and daughter.
She was a member of the VFW and VFW Auxillary, Dodge City.
Survivors include her husband,Mark Beck, Dodge City, her mother, Shirlee Counterman, Dodge City, stepfather, Clinton Bennett, Arkansas; one brother, Dennis Cline, Dodge City, one sister, Kathryn Cline, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; an aunt Donna Haefeker, Hastings, Nebraska; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Dwayne Cline, a brother, Richard Cline, and stepfather Virgil Counterman.
Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Cremation will follow the visitation. Inurnment will be at a later date.
