UPDATE: DCPD on Lookout For Hit and Run Driver in Pedestrian Accident

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Tuesday morning shortly before 1:30 an injury accident was called into police involving a pedestrian on the 2000 block of East Trail Street.  The man who had been walking suffered life threatening injuries when he was struck from behind by a vehicle traveling westbound.

The name of the victim has not been released at this time.  Police are on the lookout for a Nissan Murano with potential damage to the passenger’s side.  At this time authorities are on the lookout for the car and person involved.  Anyone with information is asked to call Dodge City Police at (620) 225-8126.

Dodge City Police report a man who was hit by a driver early Tuesday morning has now died from injuries he suffered in the accident.  The incident occurred at 1:30 Tuesday morning on the 2000 of East Trail Street.  The victim has been identified as 27 year old Evan Kaiser.

Police are on the lookout for the vehicle believed to have been involved either a grey or silver Nissan Murano which could be damaged on its passenger’s side from the accident.  Officers are still following leads in the case to find the car and suspect.
