DCHS volleyball 1-2 in season opener
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Dodge City High School volleyball dropping two out of their three matches during their season opener at the Field House on Tuesday.
The Red Demons lost to Kiowa County 13-25 and 17-25 before beating Spearville 25-19 and 25-14. In their final match, Dodge City lost to Great Bend 14-25 and 19-25.
“We were very inconsistent,” Head Coach Amy Fleener. “Some points were brilliant; others were not. It’s just different at the 6A level.”
Dodge City returns home on Thursday for a triangular with Hays, Lakin and Sublette.
