DCCC students benefit from new scholarship fund
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) In a relationship that has grown over the last six years Universal Helicopters president Gordon Jiroux wanted to give back to Dodge City Community College. Anthony Lyons is College VP of Community and Industrial Relations and tells us what Jiroux did.
The real significance in what the relationship has meant to each other has already taken place.
To get the helicopter program this big, DCCC had some help.
Lyons says the helicopter program is part of President Don Woodburn’s overall goal of getting students into high technology-high paying jobs after graduation.
