DCCC Rated One of America’s Most Affordable Community Colleges

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A recent study from Trans Union Wallet rated the top 50 most affordable community colleges across the country and Dodge City ranked fourth.

DCCC President Don Woodburn emphasized creativity in keeping costs down.

Coffeyville ranked the most affordable community college in the country. Garden City was 13th. 

President Obama has already started the discussion. Last week he proposed offering free community college for the first two years. The prosposal would be paid 75 percent from the federal government and 25 percent by the state. Dodge City Community College President Don Woodburn welcomes ideas allowing better access to higher education.
