DCCC Names Nolte New President
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Doctor Harold Nolte is removing the interim tag from his title and becoming the new president at Dodge City Community College. Nolte succeeds Don Woodburn who retires after 4 years on the job at DCCC.
During the search for a new president a search committee narrowed the list to five finalists and even had public forums where people from the community could ask questions with each of the candidates. Nolte who originally asked not to be considered for the position changed his mind.
Nolte retired in January before becoming the interim president at DCCC in July, he previously was district chair at Blinn College in Texas from 2011 to 2015. The decision of the college board of trustees was unanimous.
