DCCC Inflates Dome For New Student Activities Center

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Dodge City Community College is making significant progress in building its student activities center scheduled to open in July, 2016.  The fifty-four foot monolithic dome has been inflated and the next step is insulating the inside.

 

DCCC Foundations Director Roger Proffitt knows having this structure attracts the attention they are looking for.

There is still a lot of fundraising that needs to be done before construction is completed. The good news, DCCC Foundations Director Roger Proffitt says they are off to a good start. Don Skinner an alum with the college left a “Legacy Gift”.

There are naming opportunities and the ability to have your name etched on the outside wall.

The goal is to raise another million dollars to complete the outside of the facility.
